Out come the spooks and ghoules on Halloween Night! And I couldn't be more excited.... I mean terrified! This is my most favorite holiday next to Christmas which I just love to get into the decorating terrifying spirit! Captured above are some festive halloween cupcakes I am serving up for this month of October. The Pumpkin Chocolate cupcake is to die for.....boo haa haa! And the cupcake with the frightening bat-which I designed and made the cutter myself- is Red Velvet. I find the Red Velvet suits so many occasions! You can see the Halloween Menu on my website until the end of October! Don't be scared now..... but the intro to the website might scare you a little!!!!Love to decorate and this collage below is my dining room table. Someone is having way too much fun here....
Ditzie Cakes just had to do something barn dandy for the 8th Annual Barn Dance gift basket the Cause will be auctioning off tommorrow October 9th, 2010! I just couldn't help myself by playing off the western theme since it will benefit the SJC Equestrian Coalition in San Jaun Capistrano. After I put the basket together, or should I say bowl, it reminded me of bobbing for apples! For the Ditzie Certificate, I changed up the original colors of the ditzie color pallette to browns and reds and even changed my tag to compliment the gift certificate....yes, sometimes I feel like a nut....but you have to do what you have to do to make it come together!
Got Milk? This new flavor from Ditzie Cakes will pair nicely with a tall glass of cold milk! Oreo cookies are crumbled everywhere on this cupcake and filled with a nice whipped frosting center just like the Oreo themselves. I think for the next try, I could make the batter swim with more chunks of Oreo cookies but this sweet little cupcake came out nicely for the first attempt.... Ok! so let's go get some milk!
Just feeling a little Ditzie for my new Kitchen Apparel line! As some of you may know, I have been diligently creating some patterns for my Couture Apparel which will consist of aprons for both adults and kids, fabulous baby apparel and some unique kitchen items! These are button covered magnets with two of the patterns I designed! Cherrylicious and the McQueen Plaid's are what's cooking in the Ditzie Kitchen!!!!
