DITZIE CAKES LOVES ADORABLE APRONS!

C'est la Vie en Ditzie Couture! Just launched is my new new line of aprons for Ditzie Cakes. These are so sassy and playful so who wouldn't want to look this good in the kitchen! We certainly recieved a lot of looks as we were strutting down Old Town Orange to take these amazing shots along with my good friend Janean from "Giggle Moon Photography" and the sweetest model Irini! Irini, by the way, has that adorable little girl Sophia who was also modeling the ruffled baby bloomers I created for Ditzie Baby! I hope you will enjoy this new line of designs that I created and I look forward to keeping you so stylish and so very Couture! Ditzie Couture that is!

Awe, poor baby Ian! Isla will share her birthday cupcake with you! Aren't these pictures adorable! My talented friend Janean of Giggle Moon Photography is putting together a wonderful children's book and these were a sneek peek of the joy that is being put together for this well anticipated publication! The row of birthday cupcakes in the very center were taken by me because I wanted to capture some "befores" ....meaning what they looked like "before" those precious little twins discovered what yummy cupcakes were all about! Look at those two just sharing the love!!! By the way, Ian did stop crying when he took a little taste of the Vanilla Bean frosting! It was a good party after all!

There are two of the sweetest things that ultimately go together..... delicious cupcakes and chubby little ruffled bottom babies! I am so in love with this photo which I had the pleasure of coordinating with Janean Lindner of Giggle Moon Photography this morning! Of course, she was madly on it to start the photo editing process and all of my anxiousness has now turned into sheer delight! Fabulous job Janean.....all my hugs to you! XO Andie

DITZIE BABY BLOOMERS HAVE ARRIVED!

Pure joy comes to mind with these adorable ruffled bottom bloomers by Ditzie Baby! These sweet little bloomers come in three different styles with coordinating fabrics. One of them depicts the signature style of Ditzie Cakes which makes it even yummier! Oh Couture! C'est la Vie en Ditzie Baby!!!

ANOTHER CUTIE BOOTIE!!!

Ditzie Cakes is auctioning this little bloomer off this weekend to the St. John Fisher School in Rancho Palos Verdes! Looks like it is going to be both an exceptional and festive event as the theme is a "Masquerade Ball." Best wishes.....and again, I can't wait to meet the winning bidder of this little ditzie pail!

TOP SECRET MISSION - ACCOMPLISHED!

TOP SECRET!

I have now completed the first stage of this Top Secret mission named "MOD OPERATION DAY" ....Code Name: "CUPCAKE"! I am working undercover for an exclusive event this very evening which I have not been privy to for any information and which I have been putting in considerable time to make sure my plan is on target! My mission of operation is to go in as swiftly and smoothly as possible, set up these cupcakes as planned and get out safely without being noticed! I will return when the coast is clear.... so shhhhh, don't tell anyone I was there!

MATCHA TEATIME!

Oh! The flavor of pure ceremonial green tea otherwise known as Matcha. This tea was served centuries ago for royalty and so I know that each and everytime I take a sip of this tea it is with gratitude and great respect. I love this earthy flavor in so many ways and now it has found a new place in this variation of the Matcha Matcha Cupcake! This creation has both the matcha ingredient in the cake as well as in the white chocolate buttercream frosting which I like to garnish with more sprinkles of white chocolate! Now....to just sit down, relax and enjoy this scrumptious delight with a nice ritual of hot tea!

STORY BOARD FOR A DITZIE CAKE SHOOT!

We are set! Ditzie Cakes has found it's location, the models, the Ditzie Couture wear and the smashingly genious Gazelle Omafeits Dutch Bike! This week everything should arrive in a timely manner and I am thrilled to be shooting at a great location next week! Can't wait to show you what I have been planning for some time!! By the way, those Dutch Omafeits Bikes are genious - really! This bike has internal gears and effortless shifting and the headlight is run simply by wheel dynamo power including the tail light!!! It's awesome.... it's pure genious!!!

JUNGLE LOVE BABY SHOWER!

Another sweet day to celebrate a little baby girl coming into this world very soon! I got to bring these over to the party and set these pretty little cupcakes amongst a menagerie of wild stuffed giraffes, tropical leaves and adorable toys! Wish you could have seen it.....and then again.... I wish I would have brought my camera!!!! Oh well, I suppose I better get in the habit of bringing my camera even in parties like these! It's definitely a feast for everyone's eyes when best intentions certainly come together!

PS~ These flavors are Passion Fruit with a passion fruit curd filling, Coconut Lime with a lime curd filling and the insanely good Nutter Butters with a peanut butter cream frosting! Oh My! I think that I can still smell the aroma of chocolate and peanut butter right here from my monitor!

BABIES AND BLOSSOMS!

So much fun to be had with making these pretty blossoms for a baby shower tomorrow! I couldn't wait to try out the extra flowers I had on some leftover cupcakes this morning! Yes, I even tried out one of those or breakfast with a cup of coffee too. The Kona Koffee cupcake was superb...... with those yummy hazelnuts in a dark chocolate espresso base and another thick layer of chocolate ganache topped with a hazelnut buttercream with a touch of hazelnut liquer! OMG! I died and went to heaven...and then came back to earth sometime later! I just can't say when?
